On 09thMay 2015, Meda Inc Berhad`sChief Operating Officer, Mr. Carter An together with the staff paid a visit to the Peninsular Malaysia`s indigenous minority,
better known as Orang Asli“ in the Orang Aslivillage of KejarHilir, PulauBanding Perak. The village is located on the TitiwangsaRange , Hulu Perak is
indigenous minority from Jahaicommunity.
The program was part of Meda`sCorporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) initiative to assist Orang Aslifamilies with basic needs supplies.
It was organized in collaboration with the Orang AsliDevelopment Department (JAKOA) and the teamfrom Royal Belum.

The Jahaiare one of the nineteen Orang Aslipeople groups living in Peninsular Malaysia. They are classified under the Negrito (or Semang) subgroup.
They refer to themselves as Jah Jehaior Orang Semang. The Jahai, like all other ethnic groups of the Negrito, are generally of short stature with darker skin and
have more curly hair. Jahaisettlements are by the rivers and lakes located in the Jelidistrict of Kelantan and the Hulu Perak district of Perak.
